-never vary your line weight - vary your line weight for no reason – don’t use lines
-draw a box around the best part – draw a box around your favorite part – have a favorite part
-draw yourself congratulating yourself on bad drawing
-write question marks in all your drawings – draw question marks the same way you write them – write what you meant to draw
-use large multicolor crayons to fill in the whole paper – mar the paper surface with overzealous use of large multicolor crayons
-use fashionable pens – use unfashionable pens
-try to erase things in a way that everyone will notice – convince yourself it adds to the drawing
-glue Astroturf to the paper – use unfashionable glue
-let your brushes be dusty – get dust in your ink
-trace your image on the paper and paint by numbers – draw the numbers – write the numbers
-draw something you meant to sculpt – draw something you did sculpt
-draw the same shit over and over again”
